Our mission, in Jesus’ name, is to minister to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of our clients by promoting life-saving alternatives to crisis pregnancies and communicating God’s plan for sexuality.

Who Are We?

Women’s Care Clinic is a life-affirming medical clinic (serving “patients”) with additional support services (serving “clients”.) Clinics such as ours were formally known as “crisis pregnancy centers.” Our ministry was established in Danville under the corporate name of HELP Ministries, Inc. and has served the Vermilion county area since 1992. The goal of Women’s Care Clinic is to focus on the needs of both the woman and the unborn child during an unplanned pregnancy.

We are an interdenominational, Christian, not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. We are not linked to any one church or denomination. Our focus is to promote the love of Jesus Christ, not a particular religion. We do not make referrals to any church which believes abortion is ever an alternative to pregnancy.

We do not receive, at this time, any government funding. Our organization is supported by individuals, businesses and churches.

Who are our patients?

Our patients represent every race, culture, age group, and socio-economic status. At this time, the majority of our patients represent the 20-30 age-group, with the majority of those choosing to parent their children. Racial statistics are closely divided between both African Americans and Caucasians with a small percentage of Hispanic and ‘other’ patients. Also, some of our phone callers are men, indicating a need to minister to fathers as well.

What are our services?

Our services are free and confidential, and include the following:

*Pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasound

*Pregnancy options counseling including adoption information, abortion information (including procedures and risks but no abortion referrals under any circumstance.)

*Community referrals for legal, financial, medical and other needs

*Emotional and material assistance through our BRIDGES Program

*Ongoing support for goal setting and decision making

*Spiritual support

*Post abortion support through our PASE program

Our Clinic does not apply the use of deception or shock tactics at any time when dealing with our patients. Our approach is to share the truth with compassion and empathy towards each patient’s situation.
